This guide will walk you through the process of creating an email forward on Easy Sites. We will start from the login screen to cater for new users. Email forwards allow you to send a copy of all mail from one email address to another. For example, if you have two different email accounts, joe@examplecompany.co.uk andjoe@hotmail.com, you could forward joe@examplecompany.co.uk to joe@hotmail.com so that you do not need to check both accounts.
Step one will walk you through the process of logging into Easy Sites and navigating to the email forward section if you already know how to do this, please skip to step two.
Step One
(Navigating to the Email Section)
Let's start by navigating to www.easysites.uk and clicking the login button at the top right of the page. Once pressed you will be presented with a Login Screen where you can enter the username and password provided by Easy Domains. If you do not have access to your username and password please follow our Forgot Password tutorial.
You should now be presented with a list of domains you have hosted with Easy Domains. Please click manage on the domain you would like to make changes to.
From this next page, you will need to select Domain Management (@) from the top Navigation and then Email Forwards from the left side Quick Manage menu or from one of the centre blocks.
Step Two
(Creating the Email Forward)
In this section, we will walk you through the process of creating the email forward.
Start by entering the username of the email forward you would like to create. The username is everything before the @. The @examplecompany.co.uk is automatically added and isn't needed.
Next, we need to enter the full email address we would like to forward the email to eg joe@hotmail.com.
Once everything has been entered successfully click "Create Email Forward". Easy Sites will now setup your email forward.
If everything was successful you will be brought back to a list of your email forwards, including your new one. Your new forward should be working and ready to test.
If you have any problems following this guide or setting up your email forward, please contact our team at support@easy-domains.co.uk or call us on 01253 968004.
